Wes Andrues has enjoyed a long career of managing people and technology in the security space. Following retirement from the Air Force, where he supported the communications directorate in the Joint Staff at the Pentagon, he assumed the vice director of operations role at the Department of Defense's network operations center (now incorporated into US CYBER Command). Wes also served in leadership and compliance roles within Army Cyber Command at Fort Belvoir, VA, then transitioned into industry as chief of compliance for Atlanta-based SecureWorks. He enjoys writing on technology and compliance topics (see his posts on LinkedIn) and has a passion for the computer security vocation.
